Olga Boronilo
Olga Boronilo was born in Ukraine, and began her musical journey at age seven. She was trained classically in several disciplines, including piano, solfeggio, choir, music literature, and music history. After graduating from college with a degree in Music Education, she moved to Moscow to study at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, where she earned her master’s degree. While at the University, she gave music lessons to children ages seven to twelve. Since moving to the United States, she has continued to teach piano and has worked with hundreds of students ranging in age from three to eighty three. She has also worked with the Balletmet Dance Academy and the North Point Dance Academy.
Olga is trained in the traditional European classical style, where structure and diligence lead to lifelong skills and a joy of accomplishment that is unique to music. Although most of her students choose to learn this classical style, those who are interested may pursue an alternative curriculum that includes contemporary works.
